As someone that has recently been diagnosed with sebhorreic dermatitis I have struggled with finding a product that can help with my scaly patches and inflamed scalped. My scales and itchiness of the scalp would usually return about 2 days after wash day. Works nearly instantly. I washed my hair then applied the serum and there were no flakes the next day and those after.
I would advise applying to scalp every other day. It has menthol, but not so much where your scalp is freezing cold and you’re uncomfortable. Itching, flakes, and redness gone! Not a cure perse, but this is the only thing that has worked for me.

Y'all! I thought I would have to live with dandruff for the rest of my life until I found this INCREDIBLE, MAGICAL product! The key is no oil, period, and powerful, natural anti-fungal ingredients! I had the worst seb derm flare up of my life 6 weeks ago and as I feverishly searched for a solution I discovered Growth Sensation on YouTube. Since I started using the product I can't find a flake or an itch and any time I feel a tingle, I add a drop and we're good to go. This is me 3.5 days post-retwist and this is the point that I usually start itching and flaking and preparing to wash but, baby, we all good over here! And FYI, my loctician only used the Growth Sensation to do my retwist. I have found the cure and my dermatologist also gives this product his stamp of approval! I'm sold! Note: I apply my medicated shampoo and let it sit, only on my scalp, for 15 minutes before rinsing. Once I have a clean, flake-free scalp (which may take several washes and a toothbrush to scrub) I let my hair and scalp dry, then apply the product throughout. My loctician applied it to my wet scalp with no issue. But since I have sensitive skin, I like to let me pores close a bit and skin recover from the friction of a wash before applying any products. Got this on a whim. Nothing seemed to work to cure my dandruff flakes. Used this product ONE TIME before I washed my hair and it didn’t wonders. I don’t have an itchy scalp anymore and no flakes. So I just received my first bottle for the first time of the Fortify'D Naturals Growth Sensation specifically to help treat the Seborrheic Dermatitis which I recently developed after a braider I last went to used another customer's comb in my head. Since I used the growth sensation yesterday for the first time, I first felt like my whole head was on fire literally, not forgetting that its the maximum strength I got, for a more faster, effective use. I must say the itching immediately stopped and my scalp started getting a cool sensation o menthol. I had faux locs for a couple of months and I used the elixir at least 4x a week. I was a little nervous abut getting the locs since a lot of people have experienced breakage (especially around the hairline).
